Yes, it continues to find unanimous agreement here too - except that it has no more lasting power than any of the other Bay Rums I have, which is a shame but not unexpected because virtually all the reviews say Bay Rum generally has limited staying power. Ben was definitely right about the Tea Tree... the more you sample it the more obvious it is.
I keep wondering about Ogallala as well but it's only available from the barbershop outfit up Newcastle way and we've discussed them before with generally less than favourable conclusions (that could all have changed though?)
I still have some Ogallala from when they were a bit more reliable. I find that scent tends to have more staying power - especially the Bay Rum and Sandalwood. Though my favourite is the Limes and peppercorn. Which I will be trying to imitate (sort of) using Benjamins Bay Rum as a base soon hopefully.
Take it! My work here is done and I'm loving the progression of this thread!I've just realised that this is primarily Ben's thread about Extro and that I'm hijacking it and taking it off course. I'll remove my ingredients list and put them in a more appropriate place (no comments please )
Very nice! I'd love to visit Marrakkesh one day! Glad it arrived safely!hello @Benz3ne - the sample arrived safely - sorry for the delay in replying - i was away (in Marrakesh!) since Friday so only saw that it had been delivered when i returned today. it smells great - will give it a try out on my next shave. thanks again for the generous pif
Its the splash we're referring too, I've seen a couple of YouTube reviews of extro soaps & they look like whipped creams. Is this a cream or a soap ?
I sent the sample of the extro bay rum my good man! I've had no hand in it!Still very much enjoying the Benz3ne special Bay Rum and the Extro Bay Rum.... both courtesy of fellow members. Not forgetting Big Boar's equally delightful stuff too (still no sign of Greg).
(not to mention the other stuff like the Bello and the Pashana, bought recently, as well as the second batch of my own homemade concoction - which matured for four weeks, as opposed to the two weeks of the first batch.)
Does anyone detect a pattern forming?
