After shaving almost exclusively SE over the last 15 months , used a DE on holiday. On my return received a Gillette Slim Adjustable, which for some reason I had been unable to resist on bay of ease , only saw it amongst sellers items ,whilst looking for specific SE.

As had a blade to hand decided to use it. A revelation , nice balance and on 5 got a super Shave, very good around neck area .Now I know why it is loved by many.

Tried my French OC Gardette this morning for the first time.
I ended up with a close, clean shave but the razor did feel a bit overly aggressive and the shave wasn't quite as comfortable as I would have liked for it to be.
Not bad - just not great (based on one shave of course..).

The vintage Colgate soap has, on the other hand, proved to be a stellar addition to my den.

Love this Featherweight, so easy and close.
First try of an Arko cream, chose well the Maximum Comfort scent reminded me of Orange, very pleasant and good protection and slickness. Almond size splurge gave me more than enough for a 3 pass plus touchups.
Good shave or what!!!!
