Just pulled all my pens out of storage as i now have some display cases and shelving to put them on, and over the past three years i have got quite a few !!!

Collections of Parker 51's 61's 45's, 25's, Sonnets, Jotters, Insignias,
Waterman, Sheaffer, Papermate etc etc etc

also have the large ceramic pen, ink pot and large quink pot that parker prodused in the 80's...

With these and my razor collection, i think i need to sort out some specialist insurance for all my stuff.....................any ideas ???

Well, I could put you in touch with a shrink if you like, but do you know how many psychologists it takes to change a light-bulb?

Only one, but the light-bulb has to really want to change! :icon_razz:

Personally I think it's healthy to have such enthusiasms in life. We can't help loving the things we love.

Please try telling my wife that!

She seems to think that my blades, razors, creams, soaps, brushes, pre-shave, post shave, aftershaves etc are all seperate collections. I keep trying to tell her it's all in the same theme and they all go together. She still doesn't get it.

Nice! Very nice, to be honest.

Although you do not mention anything about those two "CROSS" boxes...:icon_surprised:

PS: "CROSS" is my addiction in growth...

Personally I think it is a shrink you need and not and insurance specialist :)

i think i actually agree with you :blush::blush:

Both of you are right. The insurance policy you want is the one for crazy guys with odd acquisition disorders. It protects them from themselves.

The Jotters look great. Have you got one of the 125 years of Parker limited editions ?

I have three of four 125 parker anniversary jotters also have the set of jubilee jotters and the jotter golden editions. I also have the goldeneye promo and some other hard to get ones

I normally see jotters at car boots uk vintage ones with the brass threads. all scratched up but with a sanding and some micromesh polishing and a wash they look like new again !

Razors... Pens.... Nice small manageable items. Think next to coin they're an excellent item to collect.

I like the UK Royal Mint Silver Proof Sets. have only found a few so far in the wild

No where near your collection, but a couple of nice ones the Harlequins are nice (fountain and pencil) and of course the Duofold (bargain at £25 a few years ago). Unfortunately the 25 is a fibre tip and they are hard to get a hold of and seem to dry up pretty quick.

The British Gas Rollerball is a fairly limited one, it was given to staff back in the day when they had introduced monthly payments and celebrates 500,000 being set up. SWMBO and I are both ex British Gas.

Nice.

I used to collect British coins and military medals as a nipper.

Still really interested in medals but I know I'm not cut out to collect stuff. Hate clutter and having anything in my house that doesn't have a purpose.

Fair dues to you nutters though.
