I have never had that experience. Guess I'm lucky ,because that would bug me like nothing else.

half my shave issues disappeared when I stopped doing against the grain passes, and stopped the across the grain passes. my facial hair grows so damned funny in some areas. a third of my neck qualifies as wtg, xtg,atg no matter what way I run the razor, so I just go with the most predominant pattern in that area.
