Worst shave ever

As above, I think. Just had the worst shave ever experienced by man [emoji14]

It tore, burned and nicked. I used it last night on my Head and forgot to give it a lick on the stone. Unfortunately I am all out of DE blades and I was in a rush so no other alternative than to strop then push on with a bluntish straight. Thank god for the soothing power of the l,occitane AS
 
Had a similar one myself yesterday (face, not head) - on a recently honed blade, too... luckily, I have about 20 years worth of DE blades so finished off with the Dr Dittmar o/c
 
Angle ... angle ... angle ... even the slightest of adjustments can make a HUGE difference.

Pressure, too. When I started with straights, I'd catch myself quite regularly but wonder how I ever did that now ... it'll come.
 
Rushing for me leads to mistakes, not cuts or nicks but more weepers and altitude but of burn. It's inly made worse by late in the day finding all the odd bits I've missed making me wonder 'why did I bother this morning?'
