What's your thoughts on this one chaps, it didn't cost much at all so nothing lost really do we think it's salvagable?
Whilst it's my first straight I've restored quite a few SE's and DE's it's just the honing and getting it shave ready that worries me!!!

I have to admit I am probably the worst person to answer your question, as I have no experience in restoring. But I have an old razor myself and I think if anything its good experience trying to get a good old looking razor shave ready.

By the time you take into account money on supplies and time spent, I probably could buy an expensive new blade, but it does appeal to me restoring an old blade :)

If anything you haven't paid a lot, and you have something you can practise on.

Goodluck :)
