Picked this razor up off ebay this week. Its a complete three day set circa 1928 and has cleaned up nicely. Been after one for a while.

I had mine honed and they initially gave quite a harsh shave, even after stropping, but a couple more shaves and they mellowed ... stropping is an essential part of blade maintenance, so get your strop in order. Lots of strop paste should get it into order and even out the creases, but if there are cracks in it ... well, you'll need a lot more work or find a new one. Luckily, these sets can put the stropping attachment on the handle rather than using the "running stropper", so you can use pretty much any hanging strop.

Love Wilkinson's. I have the equivalent 7 day set, but not in as good condition. One day I shall get around to honing the blades, but in the meantime I wheel it out occasionally and use a Gem SE blade. Shaves well.
Hope the blades are easier to get right than my Empire blades, still struggling to one of these truly shave ready.
That Roller is gorgeous.
Edit: my Pall Mall isn't adjustable either...
