Why do we have so many soaps?

RE: WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY SOAPS

This is the only area of shaving where I still can't resist trying new (and re-trying old) things.

Utter madness.

What do you think Chaps......

1....Are we searching for the "Ideal" Soap/Cream....

2....Do we like the variety.....

3....Have we lost control...and given in to S.A.D

All three!!!

I'm afraid that attempting to apply logic is going to end in fail.

It's the same thing with pens, cars, guitars (right Rick?) anything, really.

RE: WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY SOAPS

I have very few, literally 2 hard soaps and 2 creams, so it's not something that's affects me any longer.

I did used to have many more but I reigned it in, to be honest I could probably be happy with just one of each... in fact when I eventually get rid of my second string, they won't be replaced and I'll stick with one hard and one cream only.

And, like with guitars, they're all slightly different and suited to different moods. Variety is good for the soul, and the whole purpose of doing it this way rather than using the ordinary stuff is to feed our souls and make it enjoyable.
