I know you've had a few recommendations but the Edwin Jagger 3one6 is a beautiful razor and probably the right amount of assertiveness for him. The Muhle Rocca is another choice - basically the same as a 3one6.

Iv recently received a Muhle R41,
It’s very well made with a similar aggression to the 6s plate 5-6.
Another fantastic Razor is the Ikon B1 OSS
Quite a heavy Razor and very well made.
One side of the head is open comb & the other is Closed Comb.
I used it today in my SOTD & it was a class act
