For me I guess it depends on the razor. For example my Single Ring feels just right (nimble) and is one of my favorites - but of course it's a lite weight. On the other hand my NEW SC with a bar handle felt to lite, so I added some steel shot (sealed with synthetic ear plug puddy) and now it's feels just right with the added heft. Of course some razors; Red Tip, 34C, and HD 500 just seems to naturally have that perfect balance and heft.

fat boy, super adjustable, techs, got that nimble balance out of the box.
A lot of people mention on the heft of the stainless steel razor fad, and some are happy and some are not.. I can make my fat boy dance like a tech if I want to, its not that hard to do,
But I have been wondering on that weight/volume/balance thought after going through how popular some of the more unbalanced razors like the micromatic or the one blade.

I shave with everything from Schick injectors to a Mongoose B3 with a Dub handle. I don't much care about weight, I guess.

Agreed. Just because a razor weighs little, it is not necessarily a good idea to go heavy handed - they can still bite.
