What have you learned ?

I've learned a lot about shaving with a straight, but concerning DEs, it has dawned on me that I really don't like any modern blades very much. Which means it's only another 3000 or so shaves with a safety razor for me, unless I stumble across a hoard of Swedes and Wilks in a back of beyond sort of chemists.

The other revelation concerns the superlative quality of the shaving soaps available from small scale makers: surely there's no need to mention names...
