Proper glottal stop is more northern English. Folks from Yorkshire, for example, would say "Sco'ish", like we say "Bra'fud" (Bradford). Quite an abrupt stop. Scots is more a "glottal slide" (than a stop) as @Gairdner demonstrates, "Scoaa'ish" < more a skid than a stop!Do you pronounce Scottish with a stop in the middle, like Sco'ish?
