Washing Machine Fault

Obvious question is guarantee period up? Manufacturers differ in length of guarantee. Check your local classifies for service engineers for a free quote, he will tell you the damage and whether its cheaper to repair or replace ( slip him some cash if replacing)

The warranty is up.

The machine is Miele. it displayed a 'Waterproof Protection' message partway through a wash.

A quick Google advised to tilt the it forward and see what happens.

Some water trickled out an I was able to complete the wash.

I noticed some water dripping out during the was, but I'm not sure if it is leaking or because I tilted it forward.
 
Just scanned a few websites, could be inlet hose blocked, disconnect and open into a bucket to check clear flow,could be inlet manifold is faulty so require new part. Switch off machine and power to reset any error message before trying machine after draining via drainer & mopping up any visible water, hope that helps!

Tried most of that last night and it seems to be working.

I just wanted to know if it was a one off or if I'm looking at a an expensive repair.
