very quick restore

I picked up a razor on ebay quite cheap as nobody else bid :)

It arrived looking like this

A few minutes working through 240,400, 600 & 1200 wet and dry and a polish with Autosol and it looks like this

I didn't unpin so the tang and shank have some patina left but over all as a quick job I'm happy.

Honed it and it seems as though it will hold a good edge although I will be heading back to the hones as the toe isn't quite as sharp as the rest of it so I need to adjust the stroke a little.
 
Although I've never done it, I think that the majority of razor restoration can be completed pretty quickly. It's the finer details that take most time.
