Morning all, I've been watching from the outside for a little while and think it's time to join in

I'm looking to try new brands so thought I'd see what you all recommend...what are your top 3 shaving creams/soaps, pre/post shave treatments and moisturisers???

Morning Rowly and welcome.

Soap: Tabac (scent), Palmolive (price) & MWF (lather)

Cream: Speick, Castle Forbes (Lavender), T&H (Almond)

Post Shave: Nivea PSB (price), Speick (scent & feel), Proraso Green (ZING!!!!)

I would also give a honourable mention to Elemis (for men) for pre & post shave stuff. pricey - but nicey. That said you do get some good deals on QVC around Fathers Day / Xmas time.

Pre-shave: no opinion as I don't use any
Cream: Truefitt & Hill (1805 is my preferred scent, but all perform well)
Croap: Proraso Menthol & Eucalyptus
Soap: Valobra stick, Czech & Speake O&C, Art Of Shaving Sandalwood tallow version
Post: Myrsol Emulsion, Clinique Post-Shave Soother, Penhaligon's Opus 1870 ASB
Moisturiser: Clinique Moisturising Lotion

Moisturiser: I don't use 'em ...

Soap: Savon a raser Lait d'anesse 25% - La Savonniere Du Moulin, Art of Shaving Sandalwood (Tallow)
Post: Art of Shaving Sandalwood Balm, Weleda, Faena Lavender
Moisturiser: Anthony Logistics, Clinique M-Lotion Gel

Hi Rowly,

Prof Blighty Soap.
Prof Blighty balm or Emu Oil cream for after shave balm.

But, to be honest, there are just so many really good soaps and creams out there my advice would be to try as many as you can manage over time. Artisan soaps are a particular fave of mine and often exceptional value.
