I like it! looks like some serious thought has gone in to it.
I'd only got as far as thinking of using the base plates as some sort of darts holders. I have numerous sets and the 3 holes are nicely spaced for inserting the darts points. I just need to somehow suspend them an inch off the table surface.

Difficult, without blocking them up on wood or similar.

Had my 3rd shave with this razor and at the moment I'm not that keen. The cutting angle on baseplates 2 and 3 seem a bit odd to me. By altering the angle of attack, it goes from not cutting anything to presenting the blade at a hair-scraping (rather than slicing) angle very quickly. Oddly, it doesn't seem to cause the amount of irritation I would expect from an uncomfortable shave and I also end up with a great result. It's a tricky little blighter!
I'll give a couple more baseplates a try before I give up on it completely though.
