The grape that's like candy

Hiya,

So I was shopping for food and saw some grapes that I didn't know about. No idea if you guys get those Red Flame seedless grapes but man, when those things came on the scene maybe 15-20 years ago people went nuts (me included). Very sweet and very juicy with a great crunchy texture.

Anyway, I bought some of the new to me mostly greenish/creamy yellow grapes called the 'Cotton Candy' variety. Bought some because it tasted a LOT like cotton candy. Sweet and juicy with some decent 'pop' when bitten into.......luscious.

Turns out it's only the second year for this small crop that's grown in just one place. Also, the season is only a month long or so.

Here's a little info about this naturally tweaked treat. Pretty damn good invention. Oh yeah, these are seedless.

GMO? Hear they have green ones with a jellyfish gene spliced into them. Glow in the dark so they're easier to find for midnite snacking[emoji33]
