I have seen many great sporting moments and events throughout my life. High among them will always be the sight of Sir Chris Hoy crossing the line and yet again pipping his opponents with a truly amazing burst of speed.

A true sporting giant who deserves a long and happy retirement.

Disappointed he won't be at the Commonwealth Games though. Would have been nice to see him competing in Glasgow before he retired.
