Suma glycerine soap

My regular Saturday morning trajectory takes me past a health food shop. In amongst the pulses and wholemeal bamboo socks, there's a rack of soap & other bathroom stuff. They stock some made by a co-op based in Yorkshire called Suma, three of which are glycerine based. I bought one for general hand-washing etc and one day in a spirit of adventure, applied my shaving brush.

And funnily enough, it's not at all bad. The lather whips up pretty easily and is stable - it doesn't fizzle out. It's not especially cushioning, but it does an ok job. There are 3 varieties: grapefruit and aloe, rose and geranium, and hemp oil & vitamin E. I've tried the first two of those so far. They're super-cheap too - about £1.50 for a 90g puck.

Worth checking out maybe - I'd be interested to see what others think. For info, in the past I've used the Palmolive stick, the Boots own brand soap and Valobra soap. My usual hardware is a Gillette slim adjustable (1964 q1 since you're asking). I don't work for Suma!
