Next run will be with a feather, I must be able to find some fault!

Grasp the protruding threads with whatever is available but which will grip the threads but not damage them...i.e. mole grips or decent pliers or a vice and a piece of leather to prevent damage. Unscrew it from the head and then screw the loose component into the handle, ideally applying Loctite or something similar (maybe a drop of laquer or nail polish or even superglue might do) on the thread before screwing it in to keep it from unscrewing. (not too keen on superglue but you get the idea).
Haven't tried it, obviously enough, but have read it works. When I ordered it I had visions of trying one of my stainless handles or possibly the Grande Muhle handle, but never go that far. But it does give you the option to try all your handles and have a play.

Even the dismal Derby seems acceptable. I tried a new blade (Perma-Sharp Super) in the Standard today and it was fantastic, but I will have to transfer it to another razor to be sure (I only have a single blade of the Perma-Sharp). I like trying different blades. And razors. The Standard razor takes the fun out of this.
Then again.... I need to buy another Standard razor in case mine gets lost, stolen or breaks.
It's alright I guess... You don't have another one to sell per chance? :angel:DevonStan said:riverrun said:This razor is finally starting to annoy me.
