Spanish razor restore

Here's another straight razor that was cleaned up and new scales. The razor is Spanish but I can't make out the manufacturer at all - it was listed as OP but I think that's incomplete.

Scales are Purple Heart, the first time I've used this wood but a nice end result I think. The blade is 7/8" and again carries the 14 stamp - this must mean something on razors in terms of size but I don't know what it is. Anyway, it honed up nicely and gives a nice shave.

They do/did make wonderful str8s in Spain. Went to school there in the '60's, great people, great time. Only regret is that I did know about shaving with straights then. Think of the souvenirs I could have brought back!

That is a really nice restore. The grain in the purple heart is perfect! What did you treat it with?
This wood is not so naturally oily as the cocobola that I worked with recently so I applied some Renaissance Wax by hand and then buffed with a product called Vonax on a buffing wheel.
