Because my SSAD had got a little out of hand, I now have a wide assortment of mismatched soap containers which makes them hard to stack/store.
Most are too narrow to load properly so I'm looking for 8oz tins (100mm/4 inches in diameter and about 30-35mm/1-1.5 inches high) with a clear lid for custom labels.
I really like the Ikea stainless Grundtal containers, but they are too expensive per unit.

That other forum site has a great thread on making custom labels for these.

I've found a source for tin-plated steel (not rust-proof) with clear lids at less than a quid each after the excessive shipping. They cost $1.30 each when bought in a box of 24 and only $1.00 each when bought by the case (288).

At that price, these are pretty much disposable if they do start rusting.
Ideally, I'd like to find stainless containers (like Ikea) but at a lower cost.
Any ideas?
