Waking up to heavy snow I reached for my favourite winter warmer that is Caties Irish Coffee.
It is my favourite scented soap. Just think of "Baileys" and you are there.
Superb warm lather using the formidable Giles scuttle had loads of cushion, plenty of slick n Slide and a wonderful scented post shave feel.

The brush is the best I have ever had the fortune to try. A mass of cloud soft tipped badger that holds enough soap for several passes. The flow through is second to none.
I found myself doing 4 passes because I did not want to put it down. Beautiful.

Four gentle passes with the super efficient Clog Pruf left me BBS without any mishaps or irritation.

After no feedback from the Alum I reached for the A*men Coffee to finish off a sublime Sunday afternoon shave.

A lovely quick shave by the ever reliable W&B.
Still on the lookout for the new W&B's to be released but they are really dragging their heels with it.

The Phoenix and Beau soaps have a lot more tallow than any of the Razorock soaps which is great for a straight shave in my opinion.

I personally find P&B works better with a half bowl lather and half face lather technique because of the high tallow content.

I hope all of you are keeping safe with the impending bad weather. It's fairly mild here in Ireland where I am living.
Still gonna enjoy a few hot whisky's by the fire though!!

Second shave with the SBS this time flipped to the more aggressive setting. The difference must be minimal, maybe a little more aggressive but nothing too drastic. I feel the shave was better with the milder plate. A good shave though, looking forward to trying a Fatboy tomorrow. I'm not a fan of Bay Rum in general, the Extro was nice, much nicer than Ogalalla Bay Rum but all in all not my cup of tea, as far as scents go.​
