Ah the old limoncello for the face! I'm quite partial to a squirt of that myself.
And you shaved without a razor handle, impressive!View attachment 83693
Brush - Omega 10075
Soap - Vitos Red Coco w/Citronella
Razor - Souplex Bakelite
Blade - Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
AS - Denim Original
I find Italian tallow croaps like Vitos and Cella seem to work better with a boar brush, and using a little more soap and water than I'd use normally to get the slick whipped cream lather. A really smooth and comfortable shave with a brand new Bic CP in a Souplex Bakelite, which is a very mild razor head, it needs a very sharp blade to clear stubble.
A very enjoyable shave.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday gents.
Is that the Green 7 O'clock Super Stainless (Russia) or Permasharp (India)?View attachment 83711
Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: Floris 89
Brush: 24mm Yaqi Sagrada Familia Tuxedo
Razor: Merkur 34C HD
Blade: Gillette 7 O' Clock Green (2)
Post: RSC Balm, Al-Rehab Lord
Off to see real people in a real office this morning. The Floris and Al Rehab seemed a perfect fit (my wife certainly rates it.) I keep giving the 7 o'clock one more chance to shine, but it's just a little dull (IMHO) compared to other Gillettes in my arsenal.
How are you getting on with the Chubby?SOTD 31-Jan

Brush: Chubby 2 Manchurian
Soap: MWF
Razor: CG Level 3
Blade: GSB (2)
Poat: Barts Ben Nevis Lotion
Excellent shave this morning, the rediscovery of Barts (lurking at the bottom of the box of mystery the other week) reminds me that it is brilliant and for the price it is amazing!
Hope everyone has a good kick off to the week!
Cheers
Marc
Enjoying the Vector? Despite my (already failing) minimal purchase 2022 pledge, I do like the sound of the Namkha and Oregon soaps from Løthur.Blackland Vector SS

@Boycie83 , it's a Russian pack, Chris....Is that the Green 7 O'clock Super Stainless (Russia) or Permasharp (India)?
I must give those a go again - I think 2019 may have been the last time I used some. I recall them being a good blade but I was in my honeymoon period.@Boycie83 , it's a Russian pack, Chris....
