As before the soap lathered well and was easy to apply. It provided a good cushion. A nice and easy 3 grain pass with what some consider a more aggressive razor than others. I was mindful of that but not overly cautious.

Very pleased with the results. A nice clean and smooth shave. Zero issues, weepers / cuts etc. I’m tempted to use the same blade for my next shave tomorrow or Tuesday evening but will see.

Another great shave while I was away, the new Yaqi Soap was a bracing menthol filled wake up call, which was needed after the heavy night catching up with friends. MSC really do have a great base.
The brush and razor combo as usual worked a treat and I’m going to try and use them more often rather thank just when I’m travelling.

I find Italian tallow croaps like Vitos and Cella seem to work better with a boar brush, and using a little more soap and water than I'd use normally to get the slick whipped cream lather. A really smooth and comfortable shave with a brand new Bic CP in a Souplex Bakelite, which is a very mild razor head, it needs a very sharp blade to clear stubble.

A very enjoyable shave.

Missed using this excellent soap. Did not disappoint at all. Lightly scented but the lather is beautifully rich and very slick...sud use more for SR
Missed shaving with the razor too and today paired with this 1st-time use PTFE blade was a Wow! Super smooth and very efficient! I did palm-stropped the blade. 3passes for a bbs finish. Missed the Clubman aftershave too and it was just awesome...and lasting!

Off to see real people in a real office this morning. The Floris and Al Rehab seemed a perfect fit (my wife certainly rates it.) I keep giving the 7 o'clock one more chance to shine, but it's just a little dull (IMHO) compared to other Gillettes in my arsenal.
