Does that mean we have to breed? So, that's two of us ... one is just a tree, but two is the makings of a mighty forest!
It is a fine razor and performs as well as the Damaskeene, imho.Monday 29th August
Ganders Goat Soap w/Hop, Sage & Birch
Hampshire Wool Fat Shaving Soap & Kent Infinity+ Silver Fibre
Ever Ready 1914 & GEM by Personna (1)
Gillette Series Wild Rain (Vintage) Aftershave
We don't hear much about the 1914 ...
Remember, in 1914, this was the Ever-Ready brand competition to the GEM Damaskeene since the 1912 as it's called did not come about until 1919. From my analysis of the razor (see: https://www.theshavingroom.co.uk/co...-1924-identification.25875/page-2#post-837536) we can see that it did survive across the 1919 breakpoint and with those capless Test Outfits, it did seem that the 1914 had more to offer ASR ... but it would appear to dwindle into the annals of history and by 1924, there was a replacement issued in.
It should be more celebrated!
Its from Bolton. Up north.I'm with you now - it's lasted you since February. I thought you meant it was a Russian soap!!
Yes obviously. As one is one and plus one is two and plus one is tree, or something like that. .Does that mean we have to breed?
I'm OUT then !! I have one I enjoy but prefer my Damaskeene
