Super Monday shave
ATT CR1
Ferdman 28mm 2 band TGN Knot
Feana Mastic

2nd shave on the ATT it really is a nice razor no drag with it and it is spot on for aggressiveness for my face
I can sling it around no bother.
The Ferdman TGN lacks backbone and is unlike a 2 band finest, it exhibits more of a 3 band feel with pillow soft tips but is still a fine brush.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Birch Sap Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: iKon MR-SE +SE Handle
Blade: Feather Pro (#3)
Brush: Vulfix 404
Cream: Palmolive Cream
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Lab Series Balm

An excellent shave after a week away using disposables/carts. That said I had a superb result using a Wilkinson Sword xtreme 3 disposable and Barbon shaving cream, aided no doubt by the proceeding sauna.

Last weeks travel shaves were from combinations of the following:

Pre Shave: Proraso Green
Razors: Bic Metal, Wilkinson xtreme 3 and Vector Cart
Brush: RSC Synthetic or Omega 40033 boar
Soap: La Toja
Creams: Speick Men, Barbon and Stone Cottage Almond Flower
Post: A small Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Lucky Tiger Aspen, Pinuad Clubman and Barbon.

Greetings All,

Tuesday shave.

Two growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood cream
Razor: Rockwell 6C (4P)
Blade: Shark SS (3rd)
Brush: Razorock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, then Nivea 2 Phase, and Proraso Red aftershave.

Keep forgetting how slick the TOBS Sandalwood cream is – maybe I put more of the cream on than I spend lathering hard soaps – will need to experiment more. Anyhow, 3 passes (WTG, XTG and ATG) and no incident and smoother than well… than Robert Vaughn in Battle Beyond the Stars (or Sybil Danning, you can choose)

Cheers,

Brian

Greetings,

It's been a while since i last used my vintage Gillette Slimtwist, each time i shave with her,'all my razors are ladies, which i treat with respect', i'm always amazed that a 40 years + razor can still perform with great efficiency & smoothness.

The Gillette W.S. Saloon Pack blades are superb, very smooth and sharp, which was a great match for my much loved Gillette slimtwist.

A DFS with no errors to report.

Finish the shave off with a generous splash of 4711.

Wonderful stuff!.. I only wish the scent would last longer..While it does though, it's superb.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

'The Clawhammer'
Nacet (#1)
YaQi 'Space' Tuxedo
OSP Bay Rum

Disclaimer - the mark on the brush is reflected light, not damage.
The SBS head topping 'The Clawhammer', as I shall dub it herein, did the works. I set it to the more aggressive setting (cross facing outwards) and with a fresh Nacet blade got to work. I haven't used one of these blades in a little while but it instantly came back to me why I enjoy using them so much! Smooth, sharp, irritation and incident-free. Using the crackin' OSP Bay Rum I had myself a very good shave to start the day! (@nolisco)

Awesome. Next?
