A very close but smooth shave today. I grated 100g or so off my block of P160 when the cold weather descended upon us last month. Rich tallow goodness is just what's needed on cold snowy days like today.

Thank you kind Sir, in all honesty the brush is a tad too big IMO. But I'll struggle on ;)
I understand what you say regarding the size of these brushes, if you need a quick shave then they must be a go to brush.
One paint stroke across the face and you are done. :D

I also have a 26mm silvertip Maseto with tortoise shell barber handle. I really like this brush for both face and bowl lathering.
If you want to give it a whirl then Pm me mate.

All the best. :)

Cream: Arko Cool
Brush: Yaqi 24 mm Tuxedo
Blade: Heljestrand MKNo2

Lather was plenty and slick. Scent reminded me of SuperMax, generic synthetic clean, but Arko is stronger and lingers on. Post shave is ok but SuperMax was better. Cooling effect? Absent really in Arko, no menthol to be found in list of ingredients either (but have to admit I thought I could smell it).

Prep ~ Shower, Valobra tallow bath soap
Razor ~ Muhle R89
Blade ~ Personna 74*
Soap ~ La Savonniere du Moulin
Brush ~ Omega boar
Post ~ Myrsol Blue AS
Scent ~ Miller Harris ~ L' Air de Rien edp

I returned to my roots today with the R89, my first DE razor and what a great shave it gave. The Donkey's milk soap is something else I've not used for a while and together they performed wonderfuy. Sometimes simple is all you need!
L' Air de Rien by Miller Harris finnished off a perfect shave

Have a great Sunday people.....:)
