The Blaze is a great value razor, fitted with the IKON Bulldog handle it shaves very similar to the 6S on a C plate.
I am ready to take Mrs TC out for a Sunday Lunch.

First use of a Harris soap in a few years, and I must say I notice an improvement. I understand that they reformulated, for the better a couple of years ago, and I agree. I really the enjoy their take on Sandalwood. It has noticeable camphor & eucalyptus notes, which give it a slight medicinal feel, which I really enjoy.

Another smashing shave with the very lovely Personna Stainless. I think I'd be inclined to say that the KCG pips the mighty R89, what with the R89 needing a few more touch-ups ... maybe I've just clicked with the KCG, or just found exactly the right handle for it.

Back to it tomorrow, fellows. Take it easy ... and I mean that! Take time to think, take time to breathe and have the courage to stop sometimes.

Back to a sort of normalcy…
…but…

…sod it, back to the shave!

Refreshment - Stormtrooper beer (Light2peed Pilsner)

Pre - shower, Imperial Leather face wash
Cream - Proraso Red in glass bowl with Yaqi 24mm synthetic brush (all normal here)
Razor - Merkur 38C (normal)
Blade - Derby Extra (4 - also normal)
Post - lather remains face wash, cold rinse, alum block, Forest Fresh ASL, Nivea ASB, Mastermind EDT (all very normal)

Not much to do today, just a tidy of what had sprouted since last night (does stubble sprout - and is that normal? I suppose there’s a fair bit of sprouting at this time of year! Bah!) Wonderful Merkur, great Proraso and brush, excellent post routine, all in all - job’s a good-un!
