First use of a Teflon blade, first two strokes WTG, felt like the blade was doing nothing, however it was shaving quite normally, then third stroke felt like most other blades, I take it this was the Teflon all used up by this point :)

That's as about as good as it gets for me shave wise with a Straight, i have said before, i never chase a BBS, but sometimes it just happens.
The Proraso lather started off in the bowl to evenly spread the cream in the knot, then face lathering a wonderfully scented, slick, face covering.
I was using a slightly flatter angle with the spine just "a whisker" closer to the skin and the razor was singing, 2 passes starting with a full WTG pass then a XTG/ATG mix, a cold water rinse and check - done! and i am feeling comfortable and smooth.
A nice post shave to finish off a nice start to the day.

My first use of this Razor which is the original Yaqi AC/SE, and the only difference between this and The Raster seems to be the internal finish. Shave wise there seems to be little difference, as today with a Proline on board the Shave was so smooth, and I had no problems getting a trouble free close all round finish.

A great Arko lather today, but the shave itself wasn't that close, even after 2.5 passes there's still a fair amount of growth left behind on my neck.

First go with the recently received 472, was a little rough so I might see if I can revive it on the 8/12K before considering to send it out to be fully honed (I'm not at the stage of being able to do a full progression myself).

Despite the roughness, still ended up with a decent finish, but the splash definitely had to work a little harder than normal.
