Pre-Shave: Warm water with a tiny dash of Dettol massaged on to my stubble with my hands
Razor: Unknown razor that takes half a DE blade
Blade: Treet Silver
Brush: Vintage Gillette
Shave cream: The Real Shaving Co shave cream
Post-Shave: Cold water splash / The Real Shaving Co soothing balm
I wasn't able to shave this morning feeling drained due to the heat, so ran my errands got everything out the way & had an superb shave this evening.
This unusual razor few years was about to be binned, I'm glad i eventually tried it & i have been using it since, doesn't have the rigidity of a proper SE razor with the thicker blades, but saying that it doesn't chatter or flex like one would imagine, at first i wasn't inserting the blade correctly not pushing it all the way down the prongs.
Very relaxing shave i took my time, the razor mowed down my stubble with great efficiency, very mild razor despite having very little blade gap the open comb guard makes it feel efficient & smooth.
I love getting to the ATG pass with this razor, it smoothened out everything i missed without the harsh blade feel, the tinny sounding audible feedback was very satisfying too, the Treet Silver is not the best blade so it would be fun to experiment with the variety of others i have.
Those curious to see how the the blade sits inside here's some pictures.
