A birthday shave today using my present to myself. The Ikon MR-SE is one great shaver:D It doesn't have the looks of the Cobra.....but the end result is pretty close. Once again the Natural Ireland soap gave a great performance resulting in a BBS shave with 2 passes and a touchup.

Greetings All,

Wednesday shave.

One growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: Molton Brown Soap
Razor: Roackwell 6C (5P)
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2nd)
Brush: Razorock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, then Nivea 2 Phase, Michael Kors EDT and to conclude Nivea Cooling Balm.

Thought I would try something different this morning – 5P on the Rockwell. Gosh, 2 passes (WTG and XTG) and everything was all gone – to nearly BBS. However, when applying the Nivea 2 Phase, got a LOAD of feedback which eventually subsided and now the post shave feel is great. Ow, and STILL adoring the scent of the Molton Brown shaving soap ;)

A great close shave from the Sabre with its new L2 base plate, more blade feel, a more agressive shave in terms of performance but just as smooth as with the origanal base plate.
The Valobra never fails to produce the goods, slick and protective.
Finnishing with the wonderful BBA PSB .
My scent todat is the fabulous Dior Leather Oud, perfect.....:)
