a doctor once told me about a gentleman getting his cock stuck in a milk bottle when drunk or so his excuse was just walked straight in too the hospital like it.

I'll sue that doctor... it was supposed to be confidential!

Anyway:

Hot flannel
Proraso pre, white
NF Tubby 1 brush
Nanny's soft soap, Teatree and Aloe Vera
Gillette Fatboy (setting 5), Rapira SS (2)
Cold Splash, alum block
Clinique post-shave healer

First class smoothie and irritation-free. Only the fourth go with the Fatboy but it's really behaving itself... think it may be a keeper. Excellent soap... excellent everything

Gillette 7 o'clock Green

Wonderful shave, effortless BBS shave. Top job by this razor, LEA soap is fantastic.

Greetings

I completely agree with your views, I find it hard to find superlatives to describe just how well the Lea Stick performs! I only discovered this recently, last November in the Canaries, there it costs next to nothing, equivalent in cost to our Palmolive sticks but (IMHO) quite superior!

Regards
Dick.

Really enjoyed tonight's shave although the camera has finally bit the dust after dropping it taking pics of shaving stuff a few days ago. It will be getting some TLC on Tuesday to try and coax it back into life.

Sunday 13th January

Hot Shower and Facial Scrub
Vitos pre/Post cream
Thiers-Issard 'Grelot Form' 11/16 X-Thick Grind
Semogue 1800 Brush
Culmak Soap
Witch Hazel
Organic Shea Butter
Old Spice Original AS
Dax Super Neat
Brian's Own (Homemade Moustache Wax)

I spent the morning and early afternoon walking in the Black mountains in the Brecon Beacons....in the area of Lord Herefords Knob. ( Yes that is a real locality!). Took some time time with my shave this evening. 40 laps on latigo and 50 on bridle and a long slow shower and shave to give a 3 pass BBS.

SUNDAY EVENING

EJ Chatsworth Barley Chrone
Personna Lab Blue (1)
Semogue OC Boar
Woodhead Suribachi filled with odds and sods
Witch hazel
Castle Forbes AS balm

I'm very impressed with the Personnas on first shave. Really smooth and delivered an excellent shave.

Next test is how long they last but at £11 for 100 it's already looking very good.

Prep: Face wash
Razor: Merkur 34c HD
Blade: Sputnik (1)
Brush: Simpson Duke 2 Best
Cream: TOBS Coconut
Post: Proraso Menthol Post Cream
AS: Speick Splash

Another nice Russian Blade, not found a bad one yet!

TOBS Coconut - Lovely scent, awesome lather, unfortunately i get the same burning sensation using this i used to with TOBS Jermyn St cream so i think i'll be moving this one on. The TOBS soaps i've used before are fine though.

I've got two more creams to test this week Proraso blue and Palmolive, hopefully these will be fine and its just TOBS cream i need to avoid. never had a problem with any soap i've used..

Proraso menthol pre/post
Merkur 34C HD
Feather SS (#2)
Proraso menthol SC
Simpson Duke 2 Best
Thayers Medicated
GFT Coral skin food

First time using the GFT Coral skin food. I think I prefer this over the Lime or the Sandalwood. Great smell I couldn't quite place. Sweet and fruity. Slightly floral but not overly so. Slight Rose aroma. Combined well with the clove smell of the Thayers.

A nice combo.
