Shaving over moles

I only have one, as long as the razor I'm using doesn't have a large blade gap I'm fine otherwise it's like someone has opened a red tap!

Greetings

I have two large ones and over the years I have nicked them countless times, but it is something I now do less and less, the reason I do it it is always down to a combination of heavy handedness and inattention.

I try to remember to slow down and lighten my touch considerably when passing over my moles and providing I do this and my mind is not elsewhere I have no problem with any razor. When I started with a straight razor it was a particular problem but even with that type of shaver if you lighten your touch the blade just seems to ride over the mole.

Many years ago when I started traditional shaving my only razor was a Merkur Futur and I managed, by using it on a high setting to shave off one of my moles completely flush with the skin, it took me all morning to stop it bleeding...unfortunately the bugger just grew back!

Good Luck
Regards
Dick.
