You'll get there. Once you work out what works for you; hardware, software and technique - it will come together. It's about practice & doing the simple things well.
It's not just about applying no pressure when shaving - also about not putting too much pressure on yourself. I learnt within a week that ATG pass is trouble. So dont bother. Never had a BBS shave, due to sensitivity on my neck. So dont chase it. I get very decent shaves following the basically the same techniques from 5 years ago. I mapped my hair growth - shave with the grain, accross the grain & thats that. You will work out what's best for you. Your skin will adapt.
