Saturday

DE87 Jagger
jewel stainless blade
New Forest 2201 'Fido'
Nanny's Yushu soap
alum
Old spice fresh lime

First try of the jewel blades, and first impression was good. No discomfort or post shave irritation (yet) , nice close shave no cuts. Not the smoothest blade I've used ,but not bad.
The DE87 is a great razor , seems to work well with most blades.
Second use of the Fido 2201 , even better than the first time.
Nanny's soap performed excellently as usual. Getting a bit low on this have to get some more soon.
To finish Old spice fresh lime , so good.

Nice shave today.Yeah.

Good afternoon all.

St. Ives face scrub
Monsavon shaving soap
men-u pure bristle brush
Feather and Futur
Proraso AS splash
Carolina Herrera 212 Men cologne

My wife has been using the St. Ives face scrub for years. I have never bothered with it, preferring products marketed towards men. For less than £2, it is one of the best.

Thanks.

'59 Fatboy (5)
Thai Superthin (4)
Neo Finest 2-Band
SWK Scuttle
TOBS Rose Cream
Witch Hazel
Floid Original AS.

Post lawn mowing shower and shave. Strangely, i was that hot, and my face that sweaty, even after a shower, that not a busting lot of prep was required! Who'd have thought that

Have a good day gents,

Saturday

Merkur Slant 37c
Iridium (3)
Pure Badger
Olivias Crema Dark Rhassoul
Alum
Coral Skin Food

DFS+. Previous days weren't so good. I was surprised that day 3 with this blade worked well.

Saturday mid day
Pre. Hot/cold shower
Razor Le Grelot
Brush: Henks silvertip 20 mm in olive wood
Soap: Nannys Yoshu LE
Post: Proraso
AS: Alcolado Glacial
Result: W O W

This was a very, very nice shave. Everyone involved preformed fanstastic, well maybe a more skilled man would have done better, but razor, soap, brush and lotions was great. Alcolado Glacial really gives the STRONGEST menthol burst, very refreshing a hot day like today (28 deegres celius allready). In short: an excellent shave! :shave

I never touched herohyoumeanthenewrazordon'tyou...

It worked out very nice. Well behaved, a bit odd to get used to the whole 'adjustable' idea, but I didn't get tangled up into over-analysing the settings for each pass, nevermind for each stroke, which was a concern of mine. Setting 3 was mild but not a waste of time, and perhaps I should have gone up by one instead of skipping up to 5 for the next two passes, but still, no bloody raw chopped steak etc.

It may even have been partially responsible for not allowing myself to over-buff the usual trouble spots. All in all dashed jolly shave, ta ever-so-muchly.
