      - Merkur 39c LongSlant with Teflon Super Stainless Sputnik
      - UH's WeirdyBeardy Science's experimental AlumWater Spritz
      - Thayers' Lemon witch hazel
      - Urban Hermit's Bay Rum Baba Balm ASL[/list:u][/list:u]

      Tonight's shave, delivered up yet another somewhat unwlecome insight ... & made me realise I have something of a quandry. I'll post it in Shaving Help, most likely.

Was re-watching some of Mantic's (Hi Mark!) videos last night, and saw one where he finished his shave, performed a warm water rinse, applied witch hazel, and then did a cold water rinse, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Result: Very nice!
This is a new Henckels, one of the very few I´ve got new and it shaved very well. I´m very impressed with the edge Neil put on it (thank you!) and how it beshaves. I like :shave

Brush lathered beautifully and despite a 2 day growth the razor&Blade gave me a very satisfactory shave, very smooth in fact.

The fresh Feather blade loaded into my trusty Futur made short work of my 2 day growth. I continue to be impressed by the RSC cream, and the Men-U brush after months of almost continual use is in full bloom.

Monday morning shaves are the best. :D

Moved on to Rooney 3/1 Best. For those unfamiliar with Rooney, they do three main styles of handle in three sizes. So this is style 3, small size - actually a 22mm knot with a 48mm loft. Manufacturers "Best" category, like others, do vary. This best is more prickly than most but it lathers well and will give a decent face massage. I'm sticking with the palmolive as I run through my brushes. It just gets better! Superb lather. And I'm very happy with red personnas in the Jagger Chatsworth.
