Here some additional notes while using my semogue brushes after the described cleaning process.
Although those shaving brushes can be used again, there is a noticeable change within the structure of the bristles and this change is not a result of the cleaning process. The performance of those mentioned shaving brushes is not the same as it was before the described deterioration begun. The described cleaning process helped to make the brushes in some way usable again but it does not restore them to the original condition that they had in former times.
