Hi all straight razor fans.I recently won an auction on ebay and got the two razors. They were part of a 7 day set but I got Sunday and Monday. From what I gathered from ebay they are made from Sheffield steel in Glasgow/Scotland.
AS a Scot I wanted them.I wonder if they will be good shavers.I will report back as how I find them.Anyone else got razors from Scotland? I know the stones are good eg tam o shanter and water of ayr but I know nothing of the blades.

I have a nice Featherweight stamped on the tang William Landell, 106 Trongate, Glagow & with a sticker on the box McPherson Bros Ltd. Cutlers, 70/80 Argyle St. It has the same appeal to me (coming from an area where I worked in years gone) as the Scots razor has to you. It's also a very nice wee shaver.

Sorry, I've had this one for several years now so have no idea what one in good condition would fetch. I believe I paid in the region of £50 or so for mine, which had been restored & was genuinely shave ready.
