Sounds fab. P.
Scent of the day is Ambre Tabac. This is a sweet, woody vanilla with a boat load of tobacco. To me, this is undoubtedly rich, but it's not as heavy as I was expecting it to be. Still an awesome fragrance.
Australian Private Reserve
Lightning Ridge
The season of the Australian Summer is untamed, solar radiation floods the stratosphere and ultra violet drenches our land and we have come to live with the power of searing winds carrying exceptional heat.
We sit on a precipice relieved by sudden and furious electrical storms, ozone surges downward from the stratosphere while deluges of torrential rain fall on searing parched and dusty earth releasing a most unique compound.
This is what we have captured, and it is called Lighting Ridge.
The tart electric notes of Ozone rest with ripe and fresh summer fruits of Limes, Guava, Bergamot and the zest of White Grapefruit forming a diffuse seasonal accord of potent and enduring summer citrus.
Star Anise provides a sweet balsamic heart with the sweet flesh of white pears and Lilly suffused with diffuse ozone and the ubiquitous smell of dry, cracked dusty earth quenched with rain that is known as petrichor.
Sweet, warm musk's establish the base notes and they sit aside the intoxicating wet earth notes of fragrant Patchouli.

That is so true. Skin chemistry is very important to a scent. It's odd how frags can smell different on two different people, my sister can't wear Chanel number 5 because she says it smells likes cats piss on her! There's just something in it that doesn't go well with your skin.
I'm quite lucky, I've not come across anything that smells bad on me, well not yet anyway P.
Today I will finnish off my bottle of Guerlain Jicky (EDT) but I'm not too upset as I've nearly a full bottle of Jicky EDP in the wings! Happy Day's! P.
Not that I've detected but apparently if you compare the perfume extract against the EDP there should be a marked difference. I shall have to look at buying the Pen Hammam Bouquet. P.Does the scent differ between the two? I know usually EdP is just a stronger formulation but I've read of marked scent differences when it comes to Guerlain.
Incidentally everytime I wear Pens Hammam Bouquet I'm pleasantly reminded of Jicky, love it.
Lol that's funny.Topped up for the night, steady 27 sprays
