Scent From Heaven "Smells Like" Frags

I found this place http://scentfromheavenonline.com/ and found their "smells like" aftershave range... for £6 quid I thought it was worth a throw.

I chose an Issy Miyake knock off - and whilst I can't remember the original, this is a very nice smelling, lasting scent. And works well on the face. The consistency is a little thicker and the liquid a little cloudier than a normal a/s

Ingredients are "Snic base, Vitaman E, fragrance oils.

Good service and worth a little dabble for a few bob.

Smells like fags - isn't that Tabac?

Its been a while since I used the real McCoy, but I'm sure this is a similiar snifter - and its a very good quality frag as well - doesn't smell too strong or too cheap.

Plus her indoors likes it

I bought 6 of these a while ago; Aramis, Drakkar Noir, Polo, Silver Mountain Water, Polo Double Black and M7. Now, I've never tried any of these in original form, but thought they'd be worth a punt for the money. And generally I would say they are. They are very moisturising, made with essential oils, vit E and a base of skin toner, the scents are fairly long lasting too. Though, of the ones I tried I would only buy the Aramis and M7 again. Simply because I'm not keen on the scent of the others, they're nice just not me!

M7 is supposed to be a very masculine scent (Fragrantica website review) the 'smells like' is actually quite floral, though very nice. The Aramis is a good 'manly' scent, very 'leathery' which I like. Double Black smells like Addictions Wild Ginger, Silver Mountain Water smells like hand cream, Drakkar Noir smells quite 'soapy' and Polo is very vetiver/cardamon based - not to my liking.

Overall, I'd say if you're in the mood to experiment a little, or if you have a favourite and would like to see how 'smells like' compare, they're well worth the money. I'll certainly buy more in the future.

Seems to do shaving soap as well

Anyone want to give it a go and report back?

I've got a coupla shaving soaps on order RevO, they got a very good report from The London Turk, which is where I got to find out about the site. I've ordered the Brut style, and since I go back to the original Faberge, the 33% reduction and then the truly terribel Brut Lites & current Splash I should have a good idea as to how close this is to the Original. The best Brut scent thus far has been (almost inevitably) Sue at Mama Bear, whose Brute is better than the original !
