The brush is a monster, but I love it. And I'm not usually a fan of bay rums, but this one is great, like most of the old Floris products.

Saturday 4th.
My newly acquires SP injector on plate 2. AA Rubberset replica with the synthetic Plissoft knot. Incredible brush, highly recommended.
Incredible shave with this little gem, I had to be a hero and try plate three though, the aggressive one and cut myself a little. Nothing the styptic couldn't fix in a snap.
Schick injector blade on its first outing. Will be giving the Personnas a test run when they arrive from Paul.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, Bulldog Face Wash and Proraso Red + bloom water
Razor: Colonial The General
Blade: Kai Protouch MG (#1)
Brush: Kent BLK4
Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Lime
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: Williams Aqua Velva

First shave with my newly acquired General, excellent results, I would put this on par with the iKon El Jefe.

I had not used the Crabtree & Evelyn soap for a while and had forgotten how good this soap is, it really is easy to whip up vast amounts of slick, thick lasting lather. I did overdo the loading and probably had enough left over to shave all over again!
 
Saturday's shavez- not worked out what my shave today will be yet :)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Kiehl's Ultra Face Cleaner and Village Barbour Pre Shave Oil.
Razor - ATT M1 - first outing of the ATT since December, when the Muhle Rocca became no 1 in my rotation.
Blade - Gillette Nacet (Platinum) (day 1).
Soap - L'Occitane Cade Rich Shaving Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 - Best Badger.
Post shave - Cold water rinse, Mysol 'Plastic Shave', followed by L'Occitane Cade Shaving Balm.

Nice shave, 3 passes, no issues. Enjoyed the ATT, decent shave with the Nacet, not 100% convinced I like that blade. The post shave routine worked very well for me, I appreciate that YMMV - skin left very soft and supple, no tightness - felt great all day.

Prep: hot shower:/Cien: “Sport” shower gel & Shampoo/ warm wet flannel to my face.

Pre:

3 Drops of Wilkinsons Shaving Oil: / Fruits: Rhubarb & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Chinese Unbranded Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : Blue's Goat Milk.

Blade: Super-max Super Stainless. (1)

Razor: Muhle R89.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Lavender oil & Witch Hazel Mixture./Blue Stratos A/S.

Nivea Men Creme.

my shave today was absolutely excellent, it's been a while since i last used blue's goat milk soap and forgot how totally wonderful it performs, it's protection slickness,& post shave feeling is amazing..i'm now into my second tin, i have another 2 left in my den for future use;)...A wonderful 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave yet again, the super-max s.s./muhle R89 duo worked a treat. My face feels smooth & refreshed.Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.:cool:
