Simpson Commodore X3
Cella
Feather AS D2
Polsilver SI(1)
Thayers original
Myrsol agua Balsamica

Think I may have got a duff blade. Bit rough which is in total contrast to my usual experience with Polisilver SI.

I was gonna ask him how he found that to be. I know he has some great frags and could compare the Malizia vetyver take on things with others like Guerlain.

I liked this right away. Very light, which is refreshing for a frag with this main note. Nice greensy.woods thing going on, but not heavy. Heh, the EdT has the staying power of a cologne, so keep that in mind. I use both the AS and EdT when a nice change of pace is called for.

What's crazy is how inexpensive it is, especially compared to others I'd sniffed. Anyway, it's been in the rotation for maybe 3-4 years now. The aftershave's good for when I like a slight burn, and it's one that won't compete with an EdT. The AS scent is gone in a short time.

Thanks Martin, found some pretty cheap on eBay over here, the EDT too so may have to try some. EDT worth a try too then?

I was gonna type they smell the same but maybe they don't. Nope, there's a difference and I like em both. The after shave might be a bit more subdued with more soft blurring of the notes. The EdT is a little crisper and deeper. If you're just looking for only one then the EdT's what I'd choose. Nice together though.

The Malizia Uomo Vetyver is a good After Shave, it smells good and fresh, with some herbal notes.
It makes his job of a good After Shave, but there is not a predominant Vetiver shent. On the contrary Guerlain IS the Vetiver. It's full, pure, pleasant : what you can ask to a Vetiver AS and EDT. I just love it.

Daniele.

Thank you my friend. It was. I love the comlexity of the Floris scents.
As I wrote in another topic, for us, Italians, Floris products smell like a "Traditional Old English Gentleman", and I like it.

Razor Filarmonica 14 Especial 8/8 AKA Big Momma
Strop Kanayama Cordovan #8000
Brush Semogue OC Special 2012 Boar & Badger mix
Soap Mitchell's wool fat
Witch hazel

Scent Diptyque Tam dao EDP.

Just like the song If you are good to Momma then Momma's good to you.:)

Yesterday's evening shave:
Personna Platinum Chrome (2)
Henk walnut silvertip
Long comb New
Stirling Tuscany

Guerlain Habit Rouge edt

Had a really good night out - beer festival followed by pubs and clubs till 3am!

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon pre-shave oil
Soap: Grandstaff Illipe/Cocoa Butter Soap (sample)
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: Fatip + templ8 handle
Blade: Voskhod TC (3)
After: Davidoff AS, C&E Sandalwood ASB

I don't rate this Voskhod blade as high as its russian cousins; it just feels scratchy and really I should have replaced it after 2 shaves. Good job I only bought a sample pack.

Grandstaff soap cocoa butter fragrance stays with you for a while and goes well with sandalwood ASB. Hmm nice.

Have a great weekend folks.
