The soap is getting transparent, think a fortnight of solid use and we'd be through it. Luckily a younger brother is waiting in the wings Same with the Alvarez Gomez, nearly finished a 40ml travel bottle but a 150ml has been waiting to be opened for many months! Great shave with the Gibbs, works well with a Voskhod. This is by far my favourite P&B soap, love this scent. ​

QShave-4 beard, Rockwell 6C-4 head shave. First use of the Coate's Tea Tree, decent but not exceptional. I like the comfort of the 4 plate, and buffing ATG was quite easy. Nice shave.

I started a tryout for plastic disposable razors that are accepted in cabin baggage.

First was the Gillette Blue II from which I removed the greasy strip. It was really awkward not feeling the blades on the skin but the overall result was acceptable.

Next up are Bic Metal and Bic 1.

Brush: Maseto 2 band finest 24mm
Soap: Tabac
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphrey's Witch Hazel
AS: L'Oreal Hydra Energetic Pure Tonic

Not used the X3 for a while but today was pretty good, when I first got the X3 I was finding it difficult to get good shaves but I seem to have got accustomed to it now. Well mostly, while there were no nicks or weepers applying after shave gave a bit of a sting so maybe too much pressure. The Maseto brush and the Tabac made short work of creating plenty of great lather. The L'Oreal after shave is new for me and it seems quite good for a cheap after shave.
