+1 on the Parker 24C,..Parkers are very good & resonably priced razors, the 24C is a wonderful open comb, and performs with efficiency.

Saturday's shave

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Kiehl's Ultra Face Cleaner and Village Barbour Pre Shave Oil.
Razor - Hone 15a (Black).
Blade - Gillette Silver Blue (day 3).
Soap -Executive Shaving Bay Rum Shaving Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 - Best Badger.
Post shave - Cold water rinse, OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol Aftershave Tonic, finished off with Tabula Rasa Cool (Blue) Aftershave Gel.

Great shave, 3 passes. After some experimentation with blades, I am finding that the Hone works very well with the Gillette Silver Blue, having tried this with: Features; Gillette Nacet (Pl); Astra (SP); and Wilkinson sword.

A really enjoyable shave, the cottage was quiet, the bathroom free and I had all the time I needed to give myself a great shave.

The house being quiet to allow a relaxing shave is a luxury! So often I have one of my girls wanting to watch which inevitably means they want to sniff the lather/swirl the brush in the lather etc
