Rigid blades Vs Flexible blades

Okay, here's the deal. It may seem like a generalisation but it's true 90% of the time:

Rigid blades give me no irritation. I've even tried the Durham Duplex Dog Groomer and it offers no irritation? SEs are amazing

Flexible, mainly DE blades, give me neck irritation.

Does anyone else find this?!

Like you, OP, I find I get far less irritation from more rigid, in my case single edge blades, than from a more flexible blade such as one of the DE's.

DE's don't do it for me either .
I only use SE's , Injector's and the occasional Straight nowaday's .
I get less irritation and a level of closeness I could not get from DE's.
