HI,
Looking to sell my Rex Razor, it is used but has not seen much service so needs a good home. I will throw in a load of Gillette NACET blades with the package.
The following gives a few details about the razor for those who may not be familiar with this superbly manufactured tool. It wins hands down over the Fatboy and will outlast any other razor. Looking for £200 to include Special delivery in the price.
The Ambassador has six settings plus half settings, the higher the number you dial-up to, the closer your shave will be.
Each razor has its own serial number which is laser etched on the underside of the baseplate. Additionally, each razor is date coded, Rex has adopted the old Gillette dating system (2018 = N, 2019 = O, 2020 = P and R = 2021).
The marine-grade steel used on the Ambassador is so advanced, it requires specialised machining. Rex finishes the razor off with a brushed finish.
The Ambassador has a very low profile head compared to old adjustable razors such as the Slim and Fatboy and present-day safety razors. This is a real benefit as shaving under the nose and sideburns is so much easier with an Ambassador compared to its rivals.
The deeply textured handle ensures a firm grip for shaving in the shower or at the sink.
Dimensions:
Handle: 79mm long x 13mm diameter, note the collar is 16mm diameter and the base is 15mm diameter.
The handle is deeply machine-tooled in a cross-hatch design, it's absolutely non-slip
Head width: 44.2mm - this encloses a razor blade, nice safety touch.
Total height: 88.7mm
Weight: 110g
Blade Gap Range: 0.012" - 0.051" (0.3048mm - 1.2954mm)
