Question Time Tonight

The former anarchist turned corporate butter salesman? Might be worth a watch I suppose to see what his views are on crumpets, farmer's wives, and farming subsidies, after all it's their career choice.

I imagine it won't be a patch on Paxman's mauling of political lamb Chloe Smith the other week, that was good telly. It was basically a real life version of "The thick of it". I could virtually hear Malcolm Tucker having a fit in the corner.

I can't take lydon seriously after the butter ads to be honest.

I don't think he did either!

I remember seeing him on a chat show with fellow guest Sylvia Kristle, her of Emmanuelle fame, she was absolutely petrified of him and the more uncomfortable she became the more outrageous he behaved. Could be interesting viewing tonight.

Just watched this on iPlayer. Lydon certainly enjoyed holding court.

Much like a panto dame. With a touch of Dot Cotton thrown in too.

Looking forward to the next butter ad, John.

That's all he ever was really, a petulant young man who enjoyed attention.
Unfortunately he never really grew up or turned the petulance into controlled passion with a purpose, he just became a petulant old man who enjoys attention.

Plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose.
