I've whittled my collection down to mostly UK legal pocket knives now a days, I like functional as a justification for a purchase. I do have a couple of fixed blade Mora's though, in case of HALO jumps...you never know!...and a machete...and a custom stubby parang thing...and a slasher - in case of zombies(ok scrub control!).
I don't mind inexact edges as long as they do the do and a DC4 makes light work of everything I've got.
The 8Cr13MoV steel is pretty good too, comes to a nice edge.
