PM Notification Issue

The board keeps sending me emails telling me that I have new PM's, but the notification is for an old PM that was read days earlier. Anyone else getting this.

Nope, but on phpBB boards the usual cause is if your inbox is or was full.

When you clear some space in the inbox you then have to click the notification to release held messages (it won't do it automatically) then outstanding messages will be delivered to your inbox.

If not that then no idea.
