I believe you sourced your opinion from KFC' website as it sounds identical to a post on their;
How can you prove to me and everybody else that your chicken isnt genetically modified ?
All of our UK suppliers are independently certified by Red Tractor, so you don't have to take our word for it. We buy all of our meat from the same farms that supply it to other food chains and supermarkets, so the meat we sell is exactly the same as the meat you'd buy from them. We're happy to show our customers what our chickens are like and what it's like on the farms we buy from, you can see in this video:

Sorry but it doesn't pull the will over my eyes. I'm not a peddle pusher for organic chicken and what not but to hide behind organisational smoke screens such a 'supermarkets' and 'red tractor' is just covering their butt's. Anyhow here's my source:

So, are KFC selling chicken or not then?
FWIW KFC in Canada went free range some years ago following a very active (and aggressive) campaign from animal rights activists.
Not saying they are saints, they aren't, but they are a business and all business is driven by profit, if they can make more profit selling chicken type 'X' they will sell that type until a new, more profitable option, comes along.
MaccyDs are pushing the British Beef from British Farmers a lot since the meat scare. Hell, in India you can't get a beef burger for obvious reasons, so they sell a Maharaja Mac, it's chicken, or at least, it tastes like chicken
